A simple act of kindness can go a long way. Whether it be a smile, a compliment, an appreciation note, reassurance or just listening, all this makes a difference and we all know it.
3 years ago in 2015 I found a note on my study table in college, the note says

This note didn’t magically resolve my troubles but it imposed a sense of care That someone noticed I was not doing all right in the middle of the crowd and decided to do something about it. I have kept it safe in my dictionary ever since because I want to thank the person who was kind enough to leave words of motivation on my desk that day and also store it, as a reminder for all the difficulties I went through during my university years.
I cannot hide that that particular day I was broken down without a care in the world and started tearing up in the study room. I have come a long way ever since that particular incident, problems arriving to me of all sorts but, going back to that little note I always try my best to cheer up, my friends or any stranger I meet. It has now become a rule to give charming smiles.
So to whoever it was thank you. I know you also wrote your initials as jk. I would like to belueve that it was not just jokes because I took you seriously.
Much love & Take care
I’m pretty sure that wasn’t a joke but a genuine attempt to provide a comforting word. It’s a shame you never figured out who it was. A kind word or gesture goes a long way. I wish more folks would learn that. I’m glad to hear things are better now. Have a great day!
